I'm a data scientist. Back in the Autogen days, I often had my agent generate data analysis code and submit it to
docker_jupyterfor execution. It worked really well—docker_jupyter provided a stateful environment that let the agent explore data and think through problems just like a real data scientist, eventually arriving at solid conclusions.
So when I switched to the Microsoft Agent Framework, I naturally expected MAF to offer a similar code executor. But so far, it still hasn't shown up.
I can't use cloud-based code executors because, due to company compliance policies, the data files I analyze aren't allowed to be uploaded to the cloud.
That’s why I’m wondering: when will the Microsoft Agent Framework support a local or Docker-based code executor?
