Can't see any option to stop DropShare from deleting the local file?

I've just restarted using DropShare and I don't remember this behavior in previous versions.

When I upload a file located in my ~/Downloads folder, the file gets deleted and does not even appear in the Trash.
It does not happen in other locations. Actually happens in other folders like ~Pictures.

I can't find any setting for this.

This should never happen. It is clearly not intended. Please send me an email to support@dropshare.app and I will look into this. Also, please attach the apps log file to the email: https://dropshare.app/logs

We're still trying to figure out the root cause of this issue. I was not able to reproduce it by now.

Can you please update to the latest beta build of the app (via app settings) and send me the log file (http://dropshare.app/logs) to support@dropshare.app?

Where can I upgrade to the beta version? I use the program via Setapp.

@vaszkoattila for Setapp, please go to the preferences in the Setapp.app (not Dropshare, but Setapps own app) and enable beta versions there. You should then be able to update Dropshare to the Beta version on its Store page.

Also, can I ask you to do the following two things as well:

1.) check whether the original files exist under /Users//Library/Application Support/Dropshare 5/ with either their original name or the filename they have been uploaded with?
2.) send me screenshots of the General, Upload and Screen Capture preference windows of Dropshare (in the same email as the log files)?

@vaszkoattila @gmoigneu I have found the cause for this unwanted issue. (No one is going to believe this, wow.)

Please disable Notifications in the General preferences for a hotfix - I will provide an app update which fixes that issue asap. (It affects only image files)
