The fix in #476 added full-name tooltips to the virtualized catalog but left
the static catalog (128 types or fewer, the common case) with an empty tooltip
and only the automatic elision text. Custom display names and duplicate short
names had no exact identity on hover.
Both renderers now read NamespaceController.GetTypeIdentityHint, and the static
rows disable the elision tooltip so the explicit hint is the only tooltip.
Validation: CatalogTypeIdentityHintTests fails on the reverted source with
"The explicit identity hint must not be replaced by the elision tooltip.
Expected: False But was: True" and passes 2/2 on the fix. Full EditMode
975/975 and PlayMode 15/15 on Unity 6000.6.7f1 Windows; check:gate 16/16.
Tooltip hover is not capturable offscreen, so the live host label dump and the
EditMode assertions are the evidence.

### C# and Unity
27. Name classes, structs, enums, records, and delegates in PascalCase; interfaces use PascalCase with an `I` prefix. Do not carry all-caps native typedef spellings into managed
type names. Use a descriptive prefix such as `Native` when the idiomatic name would collide with a Unity or framework type. `.editorconfig` enforces these declarations as
warnings.

Walkthrough
Catalog type labels now show namespace-qualified type names on hover. When a type has a distinct display name, the hint includes both the display name and full type name. Static and virtualized views use the shared hint logic.

GetTypeIdentityHint returns the full type name, with a distinct display name as a prefix when applicable. Static and virtualized type labels use this hint. Namespace labels use the namespace key as their tooltip. Tests cover colliding short names and custom display names. The documentation and changelog describe the hover hint.
The change is ready to merge based on the verified tooltip paths and supporting tests.

Review repair: the hint now uses AssemblyQualifiedName, the repository's exact
type identity, because two loadable types from different assemblies can share a
namespace-qualified name and both enter the catalog. The existing virtualized
catalog assertion moves to AssemblyQualifiedName with it.
The new test reads the static catalog rows from the tree Build returns instead
of reading NamespaceController's private cache. The mirrored assertion still
fails on the pre-fix source with "The explicit identity hint must not be
replaced by the elision tooltip. Expected: False But was: True".

Refs #312, #523
The current fixture includes a virtualized namespace header, but the test does not require that header branch to execute. The static helper also skips namespace labels. A removed virtualized header or an incorrect static namespace tooltip could therefore pass these tests.

- 101:
Update BuildStaticHints to verify each managed namespace has a rendered
namespace label with elision tooltips disabled and its tooltip set to the
namespace key. In BuildVirtualizedHints, track whether the namespace-header
branch is reached and assert that a header was rendered after binding all rows.

Review repair: the static catalog test now requires each namespace label to
disable elision tooltips and keep its key hint, and the virtualized test tracks
that the namespace-header branch really ran. A removed header or a wrong static
namespace hint now fails the regression instead of passing silently.
Validation: CatalogTypeIdentityHintTests 2/2 on Unity 6000.6.7f1 Windows;
check:gate 16/16. Production code is unchanged from the 975/975 EditMode run.

The follow-up is applied in 1aa73ca. The static helper now asserts every managed namespace label disables the elision tooltip and keeps its key hint, and the virtualized helper tracks that the namespace-header branch binds before returning.
