I enjoy turning ideas into useful software and learning something new along the way.
I'm a VG2 IT student in Norway with a strong interest in coding in general, including debugging and reliable software. I enjoy the full development process: building features, testing them, tracking down bugs, and learning from the problems I encounter.
Right now, I'm learning JavaScript and Rust. JavaScript is practiced through Nordisk Vær, a weather web app that uses real forecast data. I recently wrapped up a C++ To-Do list CLI, where I learned more C++ while building a command-line application. My Rust project, Rustget, is on hold until Nordisk Vær is finished. After VG2, I hope to continue with an apprenticeship in IT development. I'm open to collaborations, learning opportunities, and conversations with other developers.
A single-page weather application that retrieves real-world forecast data from MET Norway and presents it through a straightforward interface. The project is helping me practice API integration, data handling, debugging, and responsive web development.
Built with: JavaScript
Status: In development toward version 1.0
Live website: Open Nordisk Vær
An experimental package manager built as a practical Rust learning project. It explores command-line development, package manifests, validation, and clear error handling through small milestones.
Built with: Rust
Status: On hold until Nordisk Vær is finished
I'm always working on something, and new projects often appear between my main ones. For projects I'm less interested in, like my dotfiles and Siteglass, I rely heavily on AI assistance so I can spend my time on the things I enjoy learning. When I use heavy AI assistance, I try my best to disclose it so others know.
