Description

Documents two Login Settings controls that ship in DefectDojo Pro 3.5.0:

  • Session Age is now the longest a login lasts, counted from the moment of login, rather than a lifetime that each session save extended.
  • Idle Timeout (new) signs a user out after a chosen time without a request: Off (the default), 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours.

The page gains a Session expiry section: an ended session returns the user to the login page and back to where they were, background refreshes of an open tab do not count as activity, activity is recorded at most once a minute, a change reaches signed-in sessions within a minute, and API tokens are unaffected. It also corrects who can change the page: the Tuner Edit permission, which every Superuser holds, rather than Superusers only.

Paired with the DefectDojo Pro change that adds the setting.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Login Settings gains Idle Timeout, and Session Age is now an absolute
lifetime counted from the login. Adds a Session expiry section and corrects
who can change the page (the Tuner Edit permission).
