📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughThe scan endpoint now caches results for 10 minutes and analyzes each unique author once. Repository webhook configuration parsing now uses valibot validation, defaults, and length limits. Repository slug parsing now supports normalized GitHub inputs and validates owner and repository names. New tests cover configuration fallback behavior, prototype pollution, and slug parsing cases. Estimated code review effort: 3 (Moderate) | ~25 minutes Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to A deleted or unavailable author can make scanning a valid repository fail with a misleading repository-not-found response. 🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Skip only 404 author failures and rethrow other errors.
analyzeAuthor can reject with a 404 from either per-author GitHub request. Promise.all then reaches the scan handler, which reports Repository not found for a valid repository. Catch 404 only for the affected author. Rethrow 403, rate-limit, authentication, and service errors so the existing scan-level mapping remains active. Do not discard every rejected author with Promise.allSettled.
