Shader model 6.10: Follow up on 'Cooperative Vector build fails when disabling optimizations' #8833
I did tried the fix with 1.10.2605.37-preview, I do confirm that build issue has been fixed but now I do have similar error at runtime when trying to create the shader:
Steps to Reproduce
Build shader referenced in #8433
Create compute shader at runtime.
Actual Behavior
17:20:02:344 D3D12 ERROR: ID3D12Device::CreateComputeShader: error: Declaration '0x.types.LinAlgMatrixC8M32N32U0S0 = type { i8* }' uses a reserved prefix. [ STATE_CREATION ERROR #1423: BYTECODE_VALIDATION_ERROR]
If I do remove Od argument, I no longer have runtime issue.
Environment
DXC version 1.10.2605.37-preview
Host Operating System Version 24H2 (OS Build 26 100.9168)
Talked with some folks over here and this is expected! The runtime compiler is going to have the older validator from the preview release we did back in April. The fix from the previous issue came later so I'd expect this to continue to fail until the AgilitySDK is updated

It should be possible to bypass the validation per https://microsoft.github.io/hlsl-specs/proposals/infra/inf-0004-validator-hashing/#d3d-debug-layer-validation-control
Here is a snippet from copilot that has not been validated but should point in the right direction
