QA Engineer · Web & Mobile Testing · Playwright & Cypress · Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
Lisbon-based QA Engineer with over four years of experience in functional, exploratory and regression testing of web and mobile applications, including accessibility testing. I combine manual quality assurance with Playwright and Cypress automation, and previously worked as an Android developer using Kotlin and Java. I value evidence-based testing, practical defect reporting and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Functional QA: web/mobile functional, regression, exploratory and usability testing; test-case design, severity/priority assessment and defect verification.
- Accessibility: manual WCAG 2.1 AA reviews, NVDA, VoiceOver, keyboard navigation, focus behaviour and colour contrast.
- Mobile and web: Android, iOS, browser-based applications, and end-to-end flows.
- Automation and technical work: Playwright, Cypress regression scripts, Claude Code-assisted automated QA testing on confidential client work, Postman API testing; introductory k6 performance-testing training.
- Delivery and collaboration: Jira, Azure DevOps, Agile teams, test plans, dashboards, reproducible defect reports and clear risk communication.
I work at Bliss Applications and have contributed to QA across banking, retail, payments, events, mobile products and other client assignments. My experience includes manual accessibility reviews of banking interfaces, Android/iOS testing, Cypress regression scripts, Playwright workflows and Claude Code-assisted automated QA testing on confidential client work. Before moving into QA in 2022, I developed Android applications with Kotlin and Java.
I have a BSc in Game Development (University of Sunderland), which gave me a foundation in programming, software architecture and debugging across different systems.
QA Assistant — AI-assisted Quality Engineering Framework is the project I am actively developing to combine structured QA workflows, test automation and human-reviewed results.
- Python / Playwright / Claude Code: browser, API, mobile and accessibility testing workflows, with evidence and approval gates.
qa-audit: automated website auditing for accessibility, passive security, performance, functionality and optional visual checks.qa-ui: a local QA interface; the multi-project hub is currently under development.- Engineering practices: versioned documentation, automated tests, GitHub Actions CI, privacy boundaries and integration components for Excel, Jira/Xray and Azure DevOps.
The project is publicly viewable but proprietary. Some features remain in development or require further integration testing.

My GitHub includes my current personal quality-engineering project, alongside academic and learning projects from my software development background.
These repositories demonstrate my interest in QA methodologies, test automation, Android development, Python, C# and Unity. They are separate from my professional client assignments and do not contain proprietary client code.
| Repository | What is in the code | QA & engineering focus |
|---|---|---|
| QA Assistant | Python, Playwright and Claude Code; AI-assisted QA framework, automated website auditing (qa-audit), local QA interface (qa-ui), testing workflows and CI. Active development. |
Test automation, accessibility, API and web testing, structured test design, evidence, reporting and human-reviewed results |
| Do I Need It? | Java Android list-management app with Firebase Authentication and Firestore CRUD | Authentication, data isolation, search consistency, error handling |
| Space Quests | Unity / C# first-person gameplay, inventory and enemy behaviours | State transitions, system integration, gameplay boundaries |
| The Gaming Evolution | Unity scenes covering 2D, 3D and Tetris-style mechanics | Grid rules, collision detection, scene transitions |

QA Assistant is my current personal engineering project. Its source code is publicly viewable under a proprietary licence, and its current capabilities, limitations and development roadmap are documented in the repository.
The remaining repositories are historical academic or learning projects, each with a project-specific English README covering its purpose, technologies, current scope and known limitations.
- Understand the user journey, acceptance criteria, and product risks.
- Prioritise important flows, boundary conditions, and accessibility barriers.
- Combine structured test design with hands-on exploration.
- Report defects with concise reproduction steps and useful evidence.
- Re-test fixes, communicate residual risks, and look for opportunities to automate repeatable checks.
I am interested in collaborative engineering teams that value reliable software, accessibility, and continuous learning.
