What are the main goals of this change?

  • Better readability (style, grammar, spelling...)
  • Content correction (accuracy, wrong information...)
  • New content

Is this change related to any reported issue? (Optional)

Follows reactiveui/ReactiveUI#4527 and goes with reactiveui/ReactiveUI#4526, which holds the example code these excerpts quote. Merge after #4526.

Notes (Optional)

The WinUI and Apple pages now describe ReactiveUI with #4527's fixes.

  • WinUI: ViewModelViewHost follows its ViewContract. Setting a contract after construction switches to the contract's view, and later view models keep that contract. The excerpt and its output come from a real Windows run.
  • Apple: the macOS window derives from the new ReactiveWindowController<TViewModel> and binds inside WhenActivated. The at-a-glance table lists both the generic and non-generic window controllers.
