This is the CLI for the Redborder platform, a powerful tool for managing and executing tasks across nodes in a distributed system.
- Build rpm package for redborder platform:
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/redborder/redborder-cli.git- Navigate into the cloned directory:
cd redborder-cli- Build the project using the provided Makefile:
sudo makeFind the built RPM packages under:
packaging/rpm/pkgs/To get a list of available commands and options, use:
rbcli helprbcli node listrbcli node execute <node_name> '<command>'To execute a command on all nodes in the list use:
rbcli node execute all '<command>'For example:
rbcli node execute all 'echo\ H3110_w0r1d'Notice the command needs to have special characters escaped, like white spaces, dashes or quotes.
Looks for the releases available at https://packages.redborder.com/releases, compares them with the installed
redborder-repo-<version> package and lets you choose the version to update to:
rbcli updateThe special latest and testing repos are offered too. Other options:
rbcli update --list # only show the available versions
rbcli update --release 26.06.21 --yes # unattended update
rbcli update --mirror packages-sc.redborder.com # use a mirror of the packages hostIf the installed repo already points to a mirror, that mirror is used by default.
