GSoC 2027 Participation Plans for Scribe

Hi Scribe team,

I’ve been contributing to Scribe and have really enjoyed getting involved with the project and its community. I’ve already had a couple of contributions merged and would like to continue contributing and taking on more work in the project.

I wanted to ask about Scribe’s plans for Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2027.

Would Scribe be planning to participate in GSoC 2027:

• Directly as a GSoC mentoring organization, or
• Through Wikimedia as part of the Wikimedia GSoC organization?

I’m mainly curious about the project’s plans for the coming year and whether there are already any discussions around GSoC 2027 that contributors should be aware of.

Thanks!
