Yo! I am a 22 y/o lad who goes by LaV (or V The Otter) on the internet.

I used to love problem solving, honestly still do, but these days I am in my creativity era: exploring fields whose thoughts never even reached my mind (let alone cross it), and shining my lights & sparkle on whatever new hobby I happen to pick up on! Lately, I've been enjoying writing & cooking a lot. I'll publish my writings soon; wait just a lil longer!!

Coding was a passion of mine which has kinda dimmed down mostly because of the AI hype, hardware getting expensive, and because I, fortunately or unfortunately, have a life now. (Hence the reason my profile here has been so dry.) :p

Right now, I am working as an Automations Engineer, building, indefinitely optimizing & refactoring, and maintaining an Audio Detection & Media Processing Pipeline. Yeah, lots of FFmpeg involved. No, no R&D involved, I mean, I might have to, in the future, but so far, I haven't had to read any research papers to help me with the detection & alignment part of things. The free & publically available software are already too OP, so a massive thank you & shoutout to all the people involved with OSS (except influencers whose job is solely to make a quick buck by giving "shoutouts" to OSS projects; yes, I have some beef with them).

Anyway, umm, I don't have any socials to give out, I suppose. If there is one, then it is either on linked in my profile description/about me (wait, is the <name>/<name> repo considered the "about me" as well?), or it is in my linktree.
