Credentials that join or rejoin rotation while the service is running (new import, re-import, recovery from cooldown, disablement, blacklist, or auth failure, group re-enable or priority change) were admitted at the highest progress of the whole candidate pool, which can span groups, or at the global watermark. When another group was far ahead, the newcomer landed hundreds of rounds behind its own peers and received no traffic for group-only models, while the panel and route inspection still reported it as available.

  • Admission now aligns a joining member with the leading progress of the non-pending members of its own group across the scheduling ledger. The frontier is computed only when a member is actually being admitted.
  • Using the ledger rather than the current pool also covers the case the suggested pool-scoped fix misses: when the group's active peers are absent from the current pool (per-model cooldown, already tried in a retry, credential filters), the newcomer would otherwise still fall back to the global watermark and starve.
  • Groups whose members are all joining keep the previous pool baseline, so a brand-new group still does not take a burst of shared traffic.
  • Selection order, weight steps, the consecutive-allocation limit, affinity, priority tiers, and model rotation are unchanged; members already in rotation keep their progress.

Compatibility: no configuration, API, or migration changes, and the runtime checkpoint format is unchanged. Members that were already admitted with an inflated progress before this fix are not corrected automatically; they rejoin normally once their group catches up, or immediately after removing runtime-state.checkpoint.json and restarting.

Validation:

  • Two regression tests failed before the change and pass after it: the issue scenario (distribution 150/150/0 → 100/100/100) and a newcomer first admitted while its active peer is on a per-model cooldown (199/1 → 100/100).
  • make check passed, including formatting, vet, frontend checks and builds, the complete Go test suite, and whitespace checks.
  • BenchmarkGlobalScheduling shows unchanged allocations and timings within noise.
  • No local race, frontend unit, browser, or E2E tests were run.

Credentials that join or rejoin rotation while the service is running were
admitted at the highest progress of the whole candidate pool, which can span
groups, or at the global watermark. In a group-only model they then waited
hundreds of rounds behind their own peers and received no traffic.

Admission now aligns with the leading progress of the member's own group
across the ledger, so it also holds when active peers are absent from the
current pool (model cooldown, tried retries, credential filters). Groups whose
members are all joining keep the previous pool baseline.

Explanation

证据(internal/scheduler/fair.go,merge base 到 head 的整体 diff):

  • selectCredential 在 member.Admit 前调用新增的 groupFrontiers(ledger)。 GroupID]。
  • fairness_test.go 新增 TestFairnessAdmissionIgnoresOtherGroupsProgress(跨组进度不被继承,分布 100/100/100)和 TestFairnessAdmissionUsesGroupFrontierWhenPeersAreAbsent(同组对等成员因模型级冷却不在候选池时,新凭据使用账本前沿,分布 100/100)。

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check

Explanation

变更范围仅包含两个文件:internal/scheduler/fair.go(入场基线按组计算及 groupFrontiers 辅助函数)和 internal/scheduler/fairness_test.go(两条回归测试及其夹具)。

Full details: Docstring Coverage

Explanation

Docstring coverage is 33.33% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 6 functions across 2 files.

Resolution

Write docstrings for the functions missing them to satisfy the coverage threshold.
